Raritan Valley Community College ranked top community college in NJ by Intelligent.com

BRANCHBURG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Somerset County) – Raritan Valley Community College has been named the #1 Community College in New Jersey in 2023 and the “Intelligent Pick” by Intelligent.com.

RVCC earned its Intelligent Pick ranking with a score of 97.92. Intelligent.com implemented a unique methodology that ranks each institution on a scale from 0 to 100 across six categories.

The scoring system compares each school to tuition costs, admission, retention and graduation rates, faculty, reputation, and the student resources provided for online students.

Studies show that obtaining a degree increases income substantially, with graduates earning 84% more than those with only high school diplomas or those without a completed GED

Last year, an economic impact study commissioned by RVCC found that the average student who receives an Associate Degree from RVCC will see an increase in earnings of $11,200 each year, compared to someone with only a high school diploma working in New Jersey.
