Readington Township police warn people of illegal website promoting ‘New Jersey Festival of Ballooning’

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Readington Township police are warning people of an illegal website promoting the ‘New Jersey Festival of Ballooning’ event.

According to police, the illegal website promoting the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning claims the festival will be held April 23, 2021 – 25, 2021 and is selling tickets to the event.

“This site is a scam,” police said.

The New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning will be held the weekend of July 23 – 25 at Solberg Airport in Readington Township. Event organizers have contingency plans if necessary, to move to late summer or early fall to ensure that you will be able to experience “live” hot air balloon launches in 2021.

The New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning was canceled in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
