Retired Hackettstown crossing guard honored with street sign

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – More than three decades of snow, rain, and wind did not deter crossing guard Annie Bell from safely guiding children across the street.

The Town of Hackettstown and the Hackettstown Police Department dedicated a section of Warren street to Bell, a town crossing guard for 32 years.

The blue and white sign for “Annie Bell Way” was unveiled on Tuesday morning on Warren Street at the entrance to Hackettstown High School.
