Road work to begin Monday on Route 517 in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Starting Monday, motorists should expect delays on County Route 517 as crews begin a resurfacing and rehabilitation project between Hackettstown and Allamuchy Township, according to a post on the Hackettstown Police Department’s Facebook page.

This Warren County project, is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 20 and last about two weeks. The work will be done Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

The work will begin near Interstate 80 in Allamuchy Township and end at the Hackettstown/Independence Township municipal line.

The work zone speed limit in both directions will be 35 mph.

Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution.
