Scammer claimed to be Warren County Sheriff’s Office employee

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – The Warren County sheriff’s office has issued a warning to the public about a phone call from a scammer claiming to be a sheriff’s office employee.

According to the Sheriff’s office, there is a man calling who says his name is Mr Miller posing as an employee of the Sheriffs office but there is no one employed at the Sheriff’s office with that name.

The man is calling from 908-340-0220 and when you call the number back, it does say Warren County Sheriffs office.

“Be cautious that it is not the Warren County Sheriffs office,” authorities said.

If you are the victim of a scam of this type, let the Sheriff’s Office know at 908-475-6309.
