School bus crash in Warren County leaves no children hurt; drivers injured

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The drivers of a school bus and a car were injured Saturday afternoon following a crash in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.

The crash happened at 1:25 p.m. on County Road 519 (Hope Bridgeville Road) in Hope Township, Curry said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a school bus with 11 children on board was traveling on County Route 519 when a passenger vehicle entered the roadway from a driveway and impacted the school bus, Curry said.

The children on the bus were not injured and the drivers were evaluated by emergency medical services crews for minor injuries, Curry said.

No further information was available.
