Section of Mount Vernon Road in Blairstown Township will be closed Wednesday for culvert pipe repair

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Blairstown Public Works Department on Wednesday, Oct. 14 will be making repairs to a culvert pipe under Mount Vernon Road that sustained substantial damage during the remnants of Hurricane Isaias.

Starting at 7:00 a.m., Mount Vernon Road will be closed to all traffic between house #15 and #20. The closure will only take place on Wednesday.

The road will be closed at Amackassin Road and Stony brook Road. Residents that reside between these roads will still be able to access their homes during construction.  Residents that reside above 20 Mount Vernon Road will have to access their home from Walnut Valley Road.

All work is subject to change due to weather conditions.
