Section of Old Mine Road in Sussex County to close intermittently for maintenance on Tuesday

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – The dirt section of Old Mine Road near the Van Campen Inn in Walpack and Sandyston Townships will be intermittently closed on Tuesday, October 13 so that workers can perform maintenance on the road, according to the National Park Service.

Work is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and includes the entire dirt and gravel section of the road, between Pompey Ridge Road at the south end and Kuhn Road at the north end.

A new layer of gravel is being applied as part of the cyclic maintenance requirements for dirt and gravel roads in the park.
