Senior and Disability Expo to be held Aug. 1 at Warren County Farmers’ Fair
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Warren County Division of Aging and Disability Services will be at the Warren County Farmers’ Fair for the annual Senior and Disability Expo on Monday, August 1.
Expect to see more than 40 vendors from all over the county who serve seniors and people with disabilities. You can obtain free information about programs, services, events and more, plus many giveaways.
Farm market vouchers will be distributed, and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand providing ID cards for seniors.
The expo is open from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and held on in the Dance Floor Pavilion, just instead the main gate off Route 519 in Harmony Township.
The Senior and Disability Expo begins before the fair’s weekday opening time at 3 p.m., so come for the expo and stay for the fair. Free admission for seniors who show their Medicare card upon entry!
Monday’s other events include the Antique Car Show, sponsored by American Legion Post 528, from 4-7 p.m.; Ice Cream Sandwich sales at the FFA Barn to support the Warren Hills FFA from 4-10 p.m.; a Fire Equipment & Apparatus Show – come see ladder trucks, pumpers, tankers and other equipment – from 5-9 p.m.; a 4-H Seeing Eye Dog Demonstration at 6 p.m.; and the nightly Mass Hot Air Balloon Launch, with up to 25 hot air balloons launching, at 6:30 p.m. Also, at 7 p.m. there will be a Former Fair Queens Pageant.
