Authorities investigating fatal shooting in Jefferson Twp.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Sunday night, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.

Police responded at around 11:21 p.m., to a residence located on Mirror Place in Jefferson Township on a report of shots fired, Knapp said.

The fatality of one adult female has been confirmed. An adult male also sustained serious injury during this incident.

The identities of these individuals will not be released, Knapp said.
