ShopRite to host job fair on June 1

NEW JERSEY – ShopRite will host a hiring fair for candidates looking for career opportunities and valuable experience in retail on Thursday, June 1.

The walk-up job fairs are taking place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at most store locations throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.

Candidates can visit most participating stores to speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, varying by location.

Available positions, including general, perishable, front end and stocking clerks, feature flexible hours and a wide variety of cross training to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store. Training programs include a game-based app and are designed to provide a solid foundation so each individual can achieve their best and pursue career goals.

Each job offers opportunities for career growth and plays an integral part in the operation of the entire Wakefern cooperative and its retail banners and stores.

The family-owned supermarkets also offer associates entertainment and tuition discounts, and scholarship opportunities. Wakefern, the nation’s largest retailer-owned cooperative, has a 76-year history of commitment to communities and the family-owned businesses that are part of the cooperative.
