Single-lane travel in both directions at Delaware Water Gap I-80 toll bridge on May 31

The Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge is scheduled to be reduced to single lanes in each direction 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The travel restrictions are needed for street sweeping of the bridge’s road surface, the commission said.

I-80 motorists are advised to allow more time to reach their destinations, reschedule their trips or use alternate routes if they need to travel during the scheduled lane-closure times on Wednesday, the commission said.

In the event of rain, the work detail and corresponding lane closures will take place on Thursday, June 1, the commission said.
