Single-lane travel restrictions in vicinity of Milford-Montague toll bridge on May 22 and May 25

MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions are scheduled to be in effect at the Milford-Montague (Route 206) toll bridge’s Pennsylvania approach from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 22, and Thursday, May 25, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Movements of vehicles will be controlled by flaggers when alternating single-lane travel is in effect, the commission said.

Motorists using the bridge are advised to allow more time to reach their destinations, reschedule travel plans, or use alternate routes, the commission said.

The planned travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather and/or emergencies, the commission said.

The restrictions are needed to allow for construction activities associated with a roadway rehabilitation project now underway in the vicinity of the bridge, the commission said.
