Skydiver injured, taken to hospital in Sussex County

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A skydiver was injured Sunday morning in Wantage Township, according to New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez.

The incident happened at 10:48 a.m. at Sussex Airport, located at 55 County Road 639, Goez said.

A 26-year-old woman from Glassboro, NJ was injured upon landing on the ground. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Newton Medical Center, Goez said.
