Smash-and-grab thefts in Hunterdon County potentially tied to ‘Felony Lane Gang’

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Clinton Township police are investigating incidents of potentially “Felony Lane Gang” smash and grabs that occurred on Dec. 5, 2022.

Three different victims left their personal belongings in plain view in the vehicles which were parked and burglarized at fitness facilities. Each vehicle had each of their windows broken.

Two incidents occurred at the YMCA, located at 1410 Route 22, between 9:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. and another incident occurred at the Courtside Racquet Club, located at 1115 Route 31, between 10:25 a.m. and 12:11 p.m.

A white Maserati with New Jersey registration S92PWH was observed entering the Courtside Racquet Club and exiting. The vehicle registration attached to the Maserati was later reported stolen in New Jersey.

Then on Dec. 14, 2022, a screenshot of a suspect attempting to cash the Clinton Township victim’s check from the Courtside Racquet Club was captured at a PNC Bank, located at 109 Dekalb Pike King of Prussia, PA. The vehicle being operated is a silver Nissan Rogue displaying Pennsylvania registration LNR6246 which comes back to a “dead” plate in the National Crime Information Center.
