Somerset County fugitive of the month

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ – Jason Papatyi is Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office fugitive of the month for January.

Papatyi, 36, is wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office for third-degree burglary, third-degree possession of CDS, and fourth-degree resisting arrest. All of which occurred in August and September of 2021 and March of 2022 in Manville Borough.

Papatyi is described as a 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes, with tattoos on his fingers, neck, right forearm and left forearm.

His last known addresses have been in Somerville and Paterson.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Papayi should contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit. You should not take any police-action yourself other than to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit at 908-231-7100 or via the STOPit app.
