Somerset County home health care aide arrested for sexual contact

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Somerset County) – A Somerset County home health care aide has be charged for allegedly having sexual contact with a non-verbal adult male patient in Franklin Township, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

On Tuesday, August 10, at around 3:12 p.m., police received a call concerning a possible sexual contact that occurred involving a non-verbal adult male patient and his home health care aide, Robertson said.

Franklin Township detectives arrived at the victim’s residence to conduct an investigation and as a result of the investigation, Rose Stanley, 69, of Somerset was arrested without incident, Robertson said.

Stanley was working as a home health care aide for a Franklin Township-based healthcare company at the time of the assault, Robertson said.

Stanley was charged with third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact and then lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, Robertson said.
