State police ID passenger killed in Warren County crash that injured 3 others

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – State police on Monday identified a passenger killed when a SUV traveled off the left side of the roadway and impacted a tree on Interstate 80 in Warren County.

Jachob Brockway, 27, of Upper Buffalo, NY, was in the front seat of a Toyota Venza headed west in Knowlton Township on September 18 when the SUV traveled off the left side of the roadway and impacted a tree, authorities said. The crash was reported at 8:42 a.m. at milepost 8.4, state police said.

Brockway suffered fatal injuries while the driver, a 27-year-old from Cheektowaga, NY, suffered moderate injuries, state police said.

Two back seat passengers, a 28-year-old from Williamsville, NY and a 28-year-old from Charlotte, NC, suffered serious injuries, state police said.
