LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – New Jersey state police are investigating after a driver led them on a pursuit before abandoning the vehicle Wednesday morning, according New Jersey State Police spokesperson Brandi Slota.

On November 10, at 12:38 a.m., troopers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on a black GMC van for a motor vehicle violation on Route 46 westbound at milepost 14.2 in Liberty Township, Slota said.

The trooper activated his overhead lights and sirens attempting to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit was initiated, Solta said.
