State police seek tractor-trailer in hit-and-run crash on I-80

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a tractor-trailer that was involved in a crash that seriously injured Roger Hill, 54, of Dover, NJ early Friday morning.

At 3:05 a.m., an unidentified tractor-trailer was traveling on Interstate 80 westbound in Parsippany-Troy Hills in the area of milepost 42.3, when the truck struck Hill, who was in the roadway, state police said.

Hill sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Morristown Medical Center. The driver of the truck departed the scene immediately after the crash, state police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
