
State police seeking driver, vehicle involved in hit-and-run crash on I-80 in Mount Olive Twp.
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a vehicle and vehicle involved in a crash that caused another vehicle to overturn in Mount Olive Township.
On Monday, Oct. 21, at 5:34 a.m., Daniel Guerrini, 25, of Andover, NJ was driving a Ford F-150 on Interstate 80 eastbound in the area of milepost 26, when an unidentified vehicle struck the Ford in the right lane of travel, state police said.
The Ford then struck a Toyota Corolla before continuing off the road and overturning, state police said.
Guerrini sustained minor injuries and the driver of the Toyota was not injured, state police said.
The driver of the unidentified vehicle left the scene immediately after the crash, state police said.
This crash remains under investigation.
