‘Straight Back Bonus’ promotion offers players bonus prizes for matching Pick-3 numbers backwards
NEW JERSEY – Evening Pick-3 drawings from October 2 through October 29 will now offer players two ways to win on straight bet wagers.
The Straight Back Bonus promotion will automatically award a $50 bonus prize to all straight bet wagers that match the winning numbers in reverse order.
For example, if a Pick-3 player chooses 1-2-3 and the numbers drawn are 3-2-1, the player wins $50. If the number is the same forwards and backwards (e.g. 1-2-1), players can win both the straight payout prize and the bonus $50 prize.
Straight bet wagers include straight, straight/box, and wheel options for Pick-3. The promotion only applies to evening drawings, and multi-draw tickets are only eligible during the promotion period.
“The Straight Back Bonus promotion is a great new way to play Pick-3,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey. “Now players can root for their lucky numbers to come out straight forwards or backwards.”
How easy is it to play Pick-3? For just 50 cents a wager, pick three numbers from 0-9. Matching all three numbers straight, boxed, paired, or split for chances to win prizes up to $250.
