Sussex County Library System to host 8th annual NJ Makers Day on March 25-26

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County Library System (SCLS) invites hands-on hobbyists of all ages to join in as they celebrate the Eighth Annual NJ Makers Day on Friday and Saturday, March 25-26.

Craft stations, and take and make projects will be available at all six SCLS locations while supplies last. Main Library in Frankford will also be hosting two live events for adults, Watercolor Painting with Regina Orr at 10:30 a.m., and a Pop Up Sewing Workshop at 1:00 p.m. Registration for both events begins March 12 through the Events Calendar at sussexcountylibrary.org or call the Main Library at 973 948-3660, option 2.

NJ Makers Day is a statewide event that celebrates and promotes maker culture, as well as the values associated with making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing and STEM-based (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning. The SCLS has been partnering the New Jersey Makers Day organization since 2016.
