Sussex County man pleads guilty to suboxone, heroin possession
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man has entered a guilty plea to possession of suboxone and heroin, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.
Anthony Cabral, 29, of Franklin pled guilty to two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on January 19, Koch said.
According to Koch, Cabral admitted to being in possession of suboxone and heroin, on two separate dates, August 19, 2021 and October 11, 2021 in Franklin.
Cabral is scheduled to be sentenced on March 2, Koch said.
Cabral was represented by Thomas F. Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Magdalen Czykier.
