Sussex County reports 112 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, March 9 are reporting 112 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 34,909 and total deaths is at 468:

  • Andover Borough-121 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,778 and 150 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-154 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,981 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,307 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,329 and 17 deaths
  • Fredon Township-693 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-946 and 12 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-817 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,224 and 8 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,948 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,537 and 33 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-556 and 2 deaths
  • Montague Township-826 and 7 deaths
  • Newton-2,220 and 45 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-579 and 9 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-415 and 4 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,721 and 28 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-887 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-855 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-470 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-5,044 and 40 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,498 and 14 deaths

According to health officials, of the 34,909 cases 31,867 cases have been classified as recovered.
