Sussex County reports 113 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, September 27 are reporting 113 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 16,532* and total deaths is at 320:

  • Andover Borough-63 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-854 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-78 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-952 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-672 and 34 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-587 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-341 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-438 and 8 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-424 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-563 and 3 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-995 and 14 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,776 and 16 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-225 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-367 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-942 and 24 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-332 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-187 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,208 and 19 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-448 and 4 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-391 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-185 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,366 and 23 deaths
  • Walpack Township-0 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,138 and 10 deaths

*(Twenty-Six reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 16,532 cases 15,622 cases have been classified as recovered.
