Sussex County reports 133 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, September 20 are reporting 133 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 16,229* and total deaths is at 318:

  • Andover Borough-63 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-833 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-78 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-937 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-656 and 34 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-570 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-331 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-435 and 8 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-410 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-542 and 3 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-987 and 14 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,753 and 16 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-218 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-359 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-917 and 24 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-320 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-186 and 1 death
  • Sparta Township-2,180 and 19 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-446 and 4 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-384 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-179 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,335 and 22 deaths
  • Walpack Township-0 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,110 and 10 deaths

*(Five reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 16,229 cases 15,446 cases have been classified as recovered.
