Sussex County reports 157 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, January 31 are reporting 157 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 33,735 and total deaths is at 434:

  • Andover Borough-120 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,759 and 146 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-148 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,922 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,265 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,285 and 16 deaths
  • Fredon Township-679 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-918 and 11 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-794 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,185 and 6 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,882 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,480 and 28 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-537 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-810 and 6 deaths
  • Newton-2,157 and 38 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-555 and 8 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-404 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,429 and 24 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-859 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-836 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-440 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,867 and 35 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,401 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 33,735 cases 23,201 cases have been classified as recovered.
