Sussex County reports 166 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, December 14 are reporting 166 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 21,299* and total deaths is at 362:

  • Andover Borough-72 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,029 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-103 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,226 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-838 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-822 and 9 deaths
  • Fredon Township-447 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-557 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-545 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-716 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,245 and 17 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,256 and 22 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-328 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-528 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,235 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-376 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-262 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,745 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-518 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-489 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-285 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-3,095 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,579 and 12 deaths

According to health officials, of the 21,299 cases 19,358 cases have been classified as recovered.
