Sussex County reports 171 new COVID-19 cases; 5 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Friday, January 21 are reporting 218 new COVID-19 cases and 4 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 32,765 and total deaths is at 414:

  • Andover Borough-122 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,719 and 141 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-146 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,886 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,233 and 41 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,247 and 12 deaths
  • Fredon Township-665 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-880 and 11 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-764 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,148 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,837 and 20 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,393 and 26 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-518 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-778 and 6 deaths
  • Newton-2,083 and 39 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-539 and 8 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-390 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,322 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-830 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-814 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-428 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,694 and 32 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,324 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 32,765 cases 21,722 cases have been classified as recovered.
