SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, May 11 are reporting 18 new COVID-19 cases and 3 additional deaths.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 1,046 and total deaths is at 130:

- Branchville Borough-3 and 0 deaths
- Byram Township-40 and 1 death
- Frankford Township-79 and 18 deaths
- Franklin Borough-43 and 2 deaths
- Fredon Township-17 and 0 deaths
- Green Township-13 and 0 deaths
- Hamburg Borough-23 and 0 deaths
- Hampton Township-29 and 2 deaths
- Hardyston Township-49 and 0 death
- Hopatcong Borough-107 and 4 deaths
- Lafayette Township-9 and 0 deaths
- Montague Township-22 and 2 death
- Newton-88 and 9 deaths
- Ogdensburg Borough-15 and 0 deaths
- Sandyston Township-6 and 1 death
- Sparta Township-98 and 7 deaths

According to health officials, of the 1,046 cases, 763 cases have been classified as recovered.
The names, addresses, medical history and other personal identifying information of these residents will not be released or shared with the community, officials said.
The Sussex County Division of Health is the lead agency for investigation of confirmed cases of COVID- 19, which includes contact tracing. During case investigation, the SCDOH determines which persons are close contacts, as defined by the New Jersey Department of Health, and makes the appropriate recommendations to those individuals.
