Sussex County reports 183 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Thursday, December 2 are reporting 183 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 19,891* and total deaths is at 357:

  • Andover Borough-66 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-980 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-92 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,139 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-789 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-768 and 8 deaths
  • Fredon Township-415 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-534 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-504 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-679 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,170 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,097 and 21 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-305 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-476 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,161 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-361 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-245 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,584 and 22 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-500 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-463 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-252 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,879 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,430 and 12 deaths

*(Ten reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 19,891 cases 18,459 cases have been classified as recovered.
