Sussex County reports 189 new COVID-19 cases; 6 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, January 19 are reporting 189 new COVID-19 cases and 6 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 32,376 and total deaths is at 405:

  • Andover Borough-122 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,703 and 139 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-145 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,863 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,218 and 40 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,238 and 12 deaths
  • Fredon Township-654 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-861 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-753 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,140 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,820 and 18 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,352 and 26 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-499 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-759 and 6 deaths
  • Newton-2,046 and 36 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-541 and 8 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-382 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,286 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-822 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-807 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-426 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,642 and 32 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,294 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 32,376 cases 21,525 cases have been classified as recovered
