Sussex County reports 21 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, March 1 are reporting 21 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 34,669 and total deaths is at 465:

  • Andover Borough-121 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,770 and 149 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-154 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,971 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,297 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,316 and 17 deaths
  • Fredon Township-690 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-945 and 12 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-811 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,216 and 7 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,942 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,526 and 33 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-556 and 2 deaths
  • Montague Township-824 and 7 deaths
  • Newton-2,212 and 45 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-572 and 9 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-412 and 4 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,628 and 28 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-883 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-849 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-464 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-5,019 and 39 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,488 and 14 deaths

According to health officials, of the 34,669 cases 31,067 cases have been classified as recovered.
