Sussex County reports 264 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Friday, September 10 are reporting 264 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 15,833* and total deaths is at 315:
- Andover Borough-62 and 0 deaths
- Andover Township-819 and 128 deaths
- Branchville Borough-73 and 0 deaths
- Byram Township-913 and 8 deaths
- Frankford Township-645 and 34 deaths
- Franklin Borough-555 and 3 deaths
- Fredon Township-322 and 5 deaths
- Green Township-417 and 7 deaths
- Hamburg Borough-400 and 6 deaths
- Hampton Township-521 and 3 deaths
- Hardyston Township-970 and 14 deaths
- Hopatcong Borough-1,722 and 16 deaths
- Lafayette Township-206 and 1 death
- Montague Township-349 and 3 deaths
- Newton-890 and 24 deaths
- Ogdensburg Borough-305 and 5 deaths
- Sandyston Township-183 and 1 death
- Sparta Township-2,136 and 19 deaths
- Stanhope Borough-441 and 4 deaths

According to health officials, of the 15,833 cases 15,092 cases have been classified as recovered.
Due to the decrease in the number of positive COVID-19 cases, the Sussex County Division of Health will now be releasing weekly reports each Friday. A detailed report will be released on a quarterly basis, officials said.
