Sussex County reports 30 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Thursday, February 24 are reporting 30 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 34,572 and total deaths is at 462:

  • Andover Borough-121 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,765 and 149 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-153 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,967 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,294 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,312 and 17 deaths
  • Fredon Township-688 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-943 and 11 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-810 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,212 and 7 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,934 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,522 and 33 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-553 and 2 deaths
  • Montague Township-824 and 7 deaths
  • Newton-2,208 and 45 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-567 and 9 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-409 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,610 and 27 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-881 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-846 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-461 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-5,012 and 39 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,477 and 14 deaths

According to health officials, of the 34,572 cases 30,011 cases have been classified as recovered.
