Sussex County reports 312 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, December 6 are reporting 312 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 20,337* and total deaths is at 357:

  • Andover Borough-67 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-988 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-98 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,165 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-808 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-785 and 8 deaths
  • Fredon Township-425 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-539 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-516 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-695 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,191 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,148 and 21 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-314 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-486 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,175 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-364 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-249 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,636 and 22 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-508 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-470 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-266 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,947 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,494 and 12 deaths

*(Three reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 20,337 cases 18,717 cases have been classified as recovered.
