Sussex County reports 331 new COVID-19 cases; 5 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, January 24 are reporting 331 new COVID-19 cases and 5 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 33,096 and total deaths is at 419:

  • Andover Borough-122 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,730 and 145 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-148 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,898 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,244 and 41 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,259 and 13 deaths
  • Fredon Township-666 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-890 and 10 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-777 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,165 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,847 and 20 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,429 and 26 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-523 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-787 and 6 deaths
  • Newton-2,108 and 38 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-544 and 8 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-395 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,353 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-845 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-822 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-436 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,745 and 32 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,360 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 33,096 cases 21,759 cases have been classified as recovered.
