Sussex County reports 359 new COVID-19 cases; 3 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, January 12 are reporting 359 new COVID-19 cases and 3 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 30,718 and total deaths is at 389:

  • Andover Borough-116 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,633 and 136 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-133 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,775 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,165 and 40 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,187 and 11 deaths
  • Fredon Township-617 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-826 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-715 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,071 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,745 and 18 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,204 and 25 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-473 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-722 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,892 and 32 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-510 and 7 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-360 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,077 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-797 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-743 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-390 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-4,405 and 29 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,159 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 30,718 cases 21,196 cases have been classified as recovered.
