Sussex County reports 37 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, September 21 are reporting 37 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 16,266* and total deaths is at 318:

  • Andover Borough-63 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-833 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-78 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-938 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-657 and 34 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-571 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-332 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-436 and 8 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-412 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-546 and 3 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-988 and 14 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,756 and 16 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-219 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-359 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-917 and 24 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-321 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-186 and 1 death
  • Sparta Township-2,183 and 19 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-447 and 4 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-386 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-180 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,343 and 22 deaths
  • Walpack Township-0 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,115 and 10 deaths

According to health officials, of the 16,266 cases 15,500 cases have been classified as recovered.
