Sussex County reports 38 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, October 26 are reporting 38 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 17,799* and total deaths is at 332:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-916 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-81 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,011 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-716 and 35 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-657 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-376 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-477 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-452 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-613 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,066 and 15 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,864 and 19 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-253 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-426 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,025 and 28 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-344 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-207 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,341 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-469 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-412 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-211 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,571 and 23 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,245 and 11 deaths

According to health officials, of the 17,799 cases 17,082 cases have been classified as recovered.
