Sussex County reports 398 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Thursday, December 30 are reporting 475 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 24,809* and total deaths is at 371:

  • Andover Borough-97 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,203 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-118 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,430 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-961 and 39 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-971 and 9 deaths
  • Fredon Township-509 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-662 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-611 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-845 and 5 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,445 and 17 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,646 and 23 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-387 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-601 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,432 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-416 and 7 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-295 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-3,226 and 23 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-642 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-593 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-316 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-3,605 and 26 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,795 and 13 deaths

According to health officials, of the 24,809 cases 20,229 cases have been classified as recovered.
