Sussex County reports 44 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Monday, April 4 are reporting 44 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 35,140 and total deaths is at 474:

  • Andover Borough-123 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-1,791 and 150 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-155 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-2,002 and 10 deaths
  • Frankford Township-1,331 and 42 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-1,331 and 17 deaths
  • Fredon Township-696 and 6 deaths
  • Green Township-962 and 12 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-819 and 9 deaths
  • Hampton Township-1,232 and 9 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,970 and 21 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-3,586 and 33 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-559 and 2 deaths
  • Montague Township-831 and 7 deaths
  • Newton-2,233 and 46 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-583 and 9 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-417 and 4 deaths
  • Sparta Township-4,723 and 29 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-893 and 6 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-864 and 4 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-471 and 2 death
  • Vernon Township-5,070 and 42 deaths
  • Walpack Township-3 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-2,509 and 14 deaths

According to health officials, of the 35,140 cases 34,265 cases have been classified as recovered.
