Sussex County reports 45 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Thursday, October 21 are reporting 45 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 17,638* and total deaths is at 331:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-907 and 128 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-78 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,006 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-709 and 35 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-646 and 3 deaths
  • Fredon Township-370 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-475 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-450 and 6 deaths
  • Hampton Township-607 and 3 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,055 and 15 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,852 and 18 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-253 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-421 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,008 and 27 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-342 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-201 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,322 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-465 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-410 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-209 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,552 and 23 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,234 and 11 deaths

*(One reported positive case has been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 17,638 cases 17,050 cases have been classified as recovered.
