Sussex County reports 46 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Friday, November 5 are reporting 46 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 18,252* and total deaths is at 340:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-932 and 129 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-81 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,032 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-732 and 35 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-685 and 4 deaths
  • Fredon Township-384 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-491 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-462 and 7 deaths
  • Hampton Township-625 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,088 and 15 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,916 and 19 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-267 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-446 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,089 and 29 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-345 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-214 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,388 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-475 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-433 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-213 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,618 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,271 and 12 deaths

*(Three reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 18,252 cases 17,220 cases have been classified as recovered.
