Sussex County reports 48 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, November 17 are reporting 48 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 18,796* and total deaths is at 347:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-942 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-85 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,076 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-753 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-710 and 4 deaths
  • Fredon Township-396 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-507 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-469 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-640 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,118 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,971 and 19 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-290 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-457 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,134 and 29 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-351 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-227 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,452 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-479 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-437 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-227 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,683 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,326 and 12 deaths

According to health officials, of the 18,796 cases 17,581 cases have been classified as recovered.
