Sussex County reports 49 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, November 3 are reporting 49 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 18,158* and total deaths is at 338:

  • Andover Borough-65 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-930 and 129 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-81 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,024 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-732 and 35 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-681 and 4 deaths
  • Fredon Township-384 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-490 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-462 and 7 deaths
  • Hampton Township-622 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,082 and 15 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,907 and 19 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-260 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-440 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,071 and 28 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-345 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-214 and 2 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,379 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-474 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-430 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-212 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,610 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,261 and 11 deaths

According to health officials, of the 18,158 cases 17,185 cases have been classified as recovered.
