Sussex County reports 59 new COVID-19 cases; no additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Wednesday, November 24 are reporting 59 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 19,166* and total deaths is at 351:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-954 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-88 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,096 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-770 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-734 and 5 deaths
  • Fredon Township-408 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-517 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-477 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-656 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,140 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,009 and 20 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-298 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-463 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,145 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-352 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-227 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,484 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-487 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-448 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-239 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,750 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,358 and 12 deaths

*(Six reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 19,166 cases 18,324 cases have been classified as recovered.
