Sussex County reports 61 new COVID-19 cases; 2 additional deaths

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, November 9 are reporting 61 new COVID-19 cases and 2 additional deaths.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 18,394* and total deaths is at 342:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-933 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-82 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,047 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-739 and 35 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-695 and 4 deaths
  • Fredon Township-387 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-494 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-464 and 7 deaths
  • Hampton Township-629 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,092 and 15 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-1,931 and 19 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-275 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-448 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,108 and 29 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-346 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-215 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,402 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-477 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-433 and 2 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-215 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,634 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,282 and 12 deaths

*(Three reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 18,394 cases 17,251 cases have been classified as recovered.
