Sussex County reports 65 new COVID-19 cases; 1 additional death

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Sussex County officials on Tuesday, November 23 are reporting 65 new COVID-19 cases and 1 additional death.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County is at 19,113* and total deaths is at 351:

  • Andover Borough-64 and 0 deaths
  • Andover Township-952 and 130 deaths
  • Branchville Borough-88 and 0 deaths
  • Byram Township-1,094 and 8 deaths
  • Frankford Township-768 and 37 deaths
  • Franklin Borough-734 and 5 deaths
  • Fredon Township-406 and 5 deaths
  • Green Township-515 and 9 deaths
  • Hamburg Borough-476 and 8 deaths
  • Hampton Township-654 and 4 deaths
  • Hardyston Township-1,136 and 16 deaths
  • Hopatcong Borough-2,004 and 20 deaths
  • Lafayette Township-299 and 1 death
  • Montague Township-461 and 3 deaths
  • Newton-1,143 and 31 deaths 
  • Ogdensburg Borough-352 and 6 deaths
  • Sandyston Township-227 and 3 deaths
  • Sparta Township-2,474 and 20 deaths
  • Stanhope Borough-484 and 5 deaths
  • Stillwater Township-447 and 3 deaths
  • Sussex Borough-239 and 1 death
  • Vernon Township-2,740 and 24 deaths
  • Walpack Township-2 and 0 deaths
  • Wantage Township-1,354 and 12 deaths

*(Two reported positive cases have been re-assigned out of County)

According to health officials, of the 19,113 cases 18,307 cases have been classified as recovered.
